Latest updates

As a wedding photographer based in Gloucestershire, I'm incredibly lucky to work in some beautiful locations with some amazing couples! There are some incredible venues in the area and I'm blessed to have worked with so many as the chosen wedding photographer. Gloucestershire has been my home city since birth and I could not be happier to photograph so many happy occasions taking place in it.

Recommended wedding supplier for The Barn at Upcote & midweek weddings

After photographing at the beautiful Barn at Upcote this summer, I totally fell for it's location, photo opportunities (obviously!) and overall relaxed and personal vibe. So I'm delighted that we're now a recommended supplier and I've been working with the venue, alongside fellow supplier Face Perfect by Jodi, to design a fabulous midweek offer on wedding photography.

The Barn at Upcote has been open for weddings and other events for just over a year now, so if you haven't seen it yet and are looking for a venue, get yourself out there!

The offer is currently available exclusively to this venue for midweek weddings booked on a Monday - Thursday. Just get in touch for more details.

One rainy Sunday in early September we were delighted to exhibit at The Bride and Groom Show at the Cheltenham Town Hall - a really fab event with great suppliers and fashion shows, and we were blown away by how busy we were talking to new prospective clients and taking new bookings. Definitely worth attending future events if you're looking for inspiration for your wedding, and possibly free cake - the next show takes place in January.
By popular demand! Pregnancy bump shoots

A natural continuation from weddings, I'm really excited to now be offering pregnancy and maternity bump shoots. Just head over to the new page to find out more about how this works, the best time to have it done and my approach. Having been pregnant myself I've learnt from experience and can hopefully make this a joyful experience for any Mum to be (plus partner, children and so on - if desired!). Get in touch to find out more regarding availability and my recommendations on locations for bump shoots.
Busy summer season for this Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer!

The past season one of our busiest and most exciting yet, from photographing weddings at lovely Manor Houses including Charingworth Manor, Manor By The Lake and Calcot Manor, to beautiful rustic barns like The Barn at Upcote and The Barn at Berkeley, to the regal and incredible Berkeley Castle - all of which were completely different, beautiful, amazing and creatively delightful to any wedding photographer.

We've been booking weddings thick and fast for 2018/2019 and have had some lovely feedback along the way from new customers about reasons for choosing us as their wedding photographer. Gloucestershire has it's fair share of wedding photographers, but at the start of this year I took the opportunity to get feedback directly from last year's clients, which you can read more about on the reviews page.

We're also really pleased that enquiries keep coming from recommendations from our past wedding photography customers, which is always lovely, and so many nice comments about our approach on the day - which you can read in our reviews. It's so important to choose your suppliers carefully, but of all of them, remember your wedding photographer is one of the few that will be with you all day. Read our blog on tips for choosing your ideal wedding photographer.
Whenever your wedding, it's worth being prepared

You can see from the selection of wedding photos in our gallery that lots of our couples - whatever the season - have been lucky enough to get beautiful weather - but it's the one thing you can't control or plan for. That said, it's also really important to have a plan b about your wedding photography so you can relax and not have to worry about it, so make sure you have a conversation about this with us or your chosen wedding photographer. Gloucestershire venues also often boast some beautiful indoor features, just keep an eye out for natural light sources wherever possible and you'll still get some great shots. Fortunately I love being a Gloucester wedding photographer and the weather is just part of the fun. It's the one thing completely out of the bride and groom's control - so don't worry about it, just make sure you choose a wedding photographer that can show you examples of great wedding photography in a range of weather conditions.
